Driftlss / Built around Physical Therapy

Physical therapy marketing for kids' clinics and adult practices

A parent whose pediatrician said 'get her evaluated for toe walking' and a runner with a sore Achilles both start on Google, but they read your site differently. The parent wants to know who works with toddlers and whether a referral is needed. The runner wants to know if you see sports injuries and how to book. Your site should answer both without making either one dig.

01

What we do

We build the pages each patient group needs, from pediatric and adult service pages to a referral page for physicians and a first-visit page, and connect them to one inquiry path your front desk checks every day. Then we do the search and ad work that sends the right people to each page.

02

Why Driftlss

Pediatric therapy is our specialty, so we're used to writing for two audiences at once: the family and the referring doctor. Adult PT has the same split between surgeons and direct-access patients. We plan your physical therapy marketing around how your clinic gets patients today, then fix the weakest step first.

The strategy / Physical Therapy

Physical therapy SEO and digital marketing

Most physical therapy SEO marketing comes down to unglamorous work: a Google Business Profile with the right categories and hours, and a page for each condition you actually treat. Digital marketing for physical therapy builds on that base, with ads pointed at the services that have room.

01

Pages for what you treat

Torticollis and toe walking for kids. Post-op knee rehab, low back pain, vestibular therapy and sports injuries for adults. Each condition you offer gets its own page in the words patients search, and your clinicians check the clinical details.

02

Google Maps and local search

Your Business Profile and your location page should agree on hours and on the ages you see. We check them against each other, fix what doesn't match, and set up a steady way to ask patients for reviews.

03

Ads only where you have openings

Physical therapy digital marketing pays off when the ads follow the schedule. If your pediatric caseload is full but your Tuesday ortho slots aren't, the ads say so and point to the ortho page.

Physical therapy website design, shown on a made-up clinic

Thistlegate Physical Therapy in Wexmoor isn't real. We made it up to show how we'd lay out physical therapist websites for a single clinic that sees kids and adults.

Example practice, made up for this page

  • Home page: two doors right away, 'Physical therapy for kids' and 'Physical therapy for teens and adults'.
  • Kids' page: torticollis and toe walking explained for parents, plus the ages the clinic sees.
  • Adult page: post-op knee and shoulder rehab and sports injuries, with a short note on the state's direct access rules.
  • Referral page for physicians: fax and e-referral steps, and who calls the patient back.
  • First-visit page: a photo of the entrance, where to park, which door to use and what to wear.

We show it to explain the layout. It isn't a client and has no results attached.

The thinking behind the work

How we work with PT clinics

01Two front doors

Show kids' services and adult services separately.

A clinic that treats a 9-month-old with torticollis and a 60-year-old after knee replacement needs two front doors on one site. We split the navigation and photos so a parent never lands on a page full of knee braces, and an adult never wonders if you only see children.

Your clinicians decide how each condition is described. We write it in plain words, and they correct the clinical parts before anything goes live.

02Referrals

Give a referring office somewhere to send people.

Pediatric physical therapy runs on pediatrician referrals. Adult outpatient runs on surgeons and direct access. A referral page with your fax number, e-referral steps, the prescription and insurance rules you've confirmed, and who on your team calls the patient back saves a lot of phone tag.

Direct access rules differ by state and by payer, so the page says only what your clinic has confirmed. For the pediatrician side, read how to make your practice easier for pediatricians to refer to.

03Capacity

Spend where the schedule has room.

Before any ads or new content, we ask where your openings are. If the pediatric side has a waitlist and the sports side has open evening slots, the next campaign goes to sports. Reporting keeps form requests separate from booked evaluations, so a busy week of clicks isn't mistaken for a full schedule.

If you're deciding between ad channels, our guide to Google Ads vs. Meta ads for therapy practices walks through it.

04On a phone

Make the first visit easy to find on a phone.

People open your site from the car. The clinic page should show the entrance, where to park, which door to use and what to wear to a first session. We test it the way a patient would: search your name, tap directions, tap call, then find the first-visit page.

Our first-visit page guide has the full checklist.

Questions PT owners ask us

What does a physical therapy marketing agency do?

A physical therapy marketing agency gets your clinic found and makes it easy to book. At Driftlss that means your website, SEO and Google Business Profile, Google Ads, and the referral and inquiry setup behind them. We start by checking where patients drop off today, then fix that step first.

Do you only work with pediatric physical therapy clinics?

No. Pediatric physical therapy is our focus, and most of our healthcare work is with children's therapy practices. We also take on adult outpatient and sports practices, and clinics that see both kids and adults. The site and campaigns are built around the patients you treat.

Can the website handle physician referrals and direct access patients?

Yes. Referring offices get a page with your fax and e-referral steps and who calls the patient back. Patients coming without a referral get a page that explains, in your words, what your state and the plans you take require. We only publish rules your office has confirmed.

How much does physical therapy marketing cost?

Every engagement is a custom quote after scoping. Cost depends on what you already have in place and what you want to hand off. We look at your site and Google profile first, then send a quote before any work starts.

Do we own our website, accounts and content?

Yes. Your practice owns the domain, the website, the Google and ad accounts, and everything we write. If you ever move on, it all stays with you.

Can you work with our existing scheduling or EMR system?

Usually, yes. We check what your system supports, then link to it or embed it where that's supported. Clinical records stay in your clinical system. The website and marketing tools only handle the administrative details needed to start a conversation.

How fast will you get back to us?

We usually respond within one business day.
